General Cardiologist , Electrophysiology and Pacing Fellow

Dr Michael Lim is a general cardiologist with a particular interest in the diagnosis and management of heart rhythm disorders. After graduating with first class honours from Monash University in 2013, he completed his basic physician training at The Alfred Hospital followed by advanced cardiology training at University Hospital Geelong, The Royal Melbourne Hospital and Frankston Hospital. He is currently completing a cardiac electrophysiology and pacing fellowship at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and a PhD through the University of Melbourne supported by a NHMRC Postgraduate Scholarship.

Michael is passionate about providing high-quality cardiology care to his patients as well as teaching and mentoring junior medical staff.  

When Michael is away from the hospital he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He is also an overconfident skier and an enthusiastic but thoroughly average tennis player.
