Dr Palasubramaniam is a consultant cardiologist. He completed his physician’s and advanced cardiology training at the Alfred Hospital. Dharsh was born and raised in Victoria and studied medicine at the University of Melbourne. He has also worked recently at Ballarat Health Service and Peninsula Health.

Dharsh has appointments at the Alfred Hospital and Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute, where he is currently undertaking a PhD and Clinical Fellowship in Pacing and Interventional Heart Failure. His current research interests include improving pacemaker selection and outcomes following aortic valve replacement.

Dr Palasubramaniam has a clinical interest in general cardiology, cardiac devices and the management of heart failure. He is passionate about informed, shared decision making between patient and doctor.
